The Charity Committee would like to thank all pupils, parents and staff for their support throughout Children in Need week. There were some excellent ties on show today from pupils and staff.

The Funky Tie Day, merchandise and the round pound hunt raised an incredible £1334.32 for Children in Need which will help disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

Mr Stewart’s form class 9R brought in the most round pounds with a total of £23, special mention must go to J...ack Keys who brought in £22 of which. In total 185 old pound coins were collected.

Noah Waring in Year 8 won his very own Pudsey in the raffle while Emma Galloway in Year 10 correctly guessed 304 sweets were in the jar and has won the jar.

Finally the Charity Committee would like to thank Mrs Barrow (pictured) for all of her help and advice throughout. Mrs Barrow has been organising Children in Need for many years and the Charity Committee were delighted to be able to assist the fundraising efforts
