Congratulations to all our four swimmers who proudly represented Cambridge House on Saturday 21st April in the Ulster Schools Championships in Ballymena. We saw some very exciting races in the pool and as always great socialising on the banks. It was an incredibly busy busy gala especially in the morning for the 11-14 year olds with over 400 swims.

Our three Junior 11-14 year old swimmers started with Aimee Russell (12) racing first in 100m backstroke finishing a respectable 14th in the grouping with a personal best time of 1:19.47 secs.

Matthew Evans (13) swam an incredible 1:21.83secs in 100m breaststroke knocking an amazing 6 seconds off his personal best time finishing 10th in the Boys Junior age category. 

Jana Greer (13) and Aimee Russell competed admirably in the 100m freestyle heats against 88 swimmers. Jana placing 12th with an amazing personal best 1:10.23 and Aimee placing 25th in 1:15.78.

Jana swam strong in 100m Individual Medley finishing in 1:23.30 secs coming 14th out of 42 swimmers in an extremely competitive heat and Matthew finished the Junior section swims in 11th place with an amazing personal best of 1:14.76 seconds.

Jessica Wainwright (15) took to the diving blocks for CHGS in the Intermediate & Senior Section in the afternoon commencing with 100m Fly placing an amazing 9th  and a personal best time, 1:30.23 secs. To finish the racing for the CHGS swim team,  Jessica swam against tough competition in 100m Free finishing in 16th place with a fantastic time 1:17.36 seconds.
