Cambridge House Rugby Development Group (RDG)
We are a School Support Group of Teaching Staff, Rugby Coaches and Parents who work together to support rugby development at Cambridge House
RDG support includes the following:
- Raising profile of rugby in school
- Building relationships with other school parents
- Pitch-side signage sponsorship & Publicity
- Organising Fundraisers and Social events
- End of Summer BBQ & Family Fun Night
- Tea & Coffee for home matches

RDG support this school year included the following:
- Attendance at Year 8 Induction day to promote RDG and invite new Year 8s to end of Summer BBQ & Family Night
- Supporting the rugby teams and coaches at rugby fixtures and tournaments including:
- Tea & Coffee at CHGS home rugby matches
- Tuck Shop for CHGS-hosted tournaments
- Pizzas to celebrate Team success!
- Organising social events for Rugby teams, Parents and Friends which included
- End of Summer BBQ & Family Fun Night at school
- Table Quiz Nights at Ballymena Rugby Club
- Spring Fair and other fund-raisers to support Rugby Development activities including:
- Strength & Conditioning training
- Medallion & Year 10 Rugby Tour to Dublin
- Year 8/9 Ulster Match
- Coaching equipment
- Next RDG events
Saturday 18th June 10am – Fun Run/5k at School
Friday 2nd September – BBQ & Family Fun Night at school
