Banbridge Academy 30 - 3 Cambridge House

The loss of four first team regulars [two in midweek and two on the morning of the match to a virus] was always going to stretch the meagre CH resources, CH need everyone fit to have a sporting chance. The strength of a dozen upper sixth Banbridge players proved too much for CH who only had half a dozen of similar stature.

The first half was even until the last couple of minutes when BA equalised Timmy Small’s 5^th minute penalty and then went over for a try to lead 10 – 3 at the interval.

The second period proved the opening statement all too true as BA simply out powered CH and ran in a comfortable 20 points without reply.

CH go on to play Limavady Grammar at home in the Shield quarter final on February 25^th.

Ryan Uprichard was awarded CHs Northern Bank man of the match.

On Friday 10th February, Cambridge House hosted The High School of Glasgow, playing matches at U13 and U14 level.
