Senior Choir
The Senior Choir rehearse on Monday after school; anyone from years 10 to 14 are very welcome. 2010/11 is proving to be another hectic year for Cambridge House Senior Choir with their first performance being at the Annual Awards Ceremony. The girls sang Britten’s ‘This Little Babe’ with great energy and excitement followed by a lovely arrangement of John Rutter’s ‘The Lord Bless You and Keep You’. Further school functions have included the Annual Carol Service and the Primary Schools Concert.
Unfortunately due the severe weather conditions the choir were unable to make their annual visit to Rylands Nursing Home at Christmas; we are hoping to reschedule this visit in the next few months.
The Senior Choir are currently rehearsing for Ballymena Festival, the Annual Spring Concert and our Annual Thanksgiving Service that will take place before the Easter break this year. The choir are particularly enjoying working on excerpts from ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ with the School Orchestra.
