Mathematics
The Mathematics Department consists of six dedicated Mathematicians and three staff from other departments who contribute top class education to students in this subject area.
This is a very successful department who, as well as delivering the curriculum at Key Stage 3, also offer a menu of mathematically-related subjects at GCSE and A Level, such as:
GCSE Mathematics
GCSE Additional Mathematics
GCSE Statistics
AS/A Mathematics
AS/A Further Mathematics
We currently engage in an internal mentoring programme at Key Stage 3 in liaison with the Numeracy Coordinator, and in an external outreach mentoring programme in collaboration with Central Primary School and Mount St. Michael’s Primary School, Randalstown – funded by the Sharing Education Programme (The Queen’s University Belfast).
