International Schools Award

| The International School’s Award Developing and celebrating the international dimension Cambridge House Grammar School has achieved the Foundation Level 'International School Award’ which has had a very positive impact on developing students’ awareness of the cultures of other countries, while still promoting an understanding of their own culture. The next stage for Cambridge House Grammar School is the Intermediate stage which is designed for schools who have more substantial curriculum-based international activities and have started to work with international partner schools. We have already begun work on this through ‘Comenius’ links with Romania, Poland, Germany, Spain and France with a view to projects beginning in September 2011. A school at the Intermediate level of the ISA framework is making significant progress with the realisation of the international dimension in the ethos and life of the school. Its overall strategic planning will already reflect the priority being given to the international dimension and it will be monitoring progress towards the objectives established in its international strategy |
