CAMBRIDGE HOUSE GRAMMAR SCHOOL 2ND XI HOCKEY TEAM DEVELOPMENT OFFICER 2010-2011 MRS DOUGAN 2nd XI
A squad of 16 girls attend training sessions twice a week. On a Tuesday they train at school from 3:20- 4:40pm and on a Wednesday they travel to the astro-turf at the Showgrounds to train with the 1st XI from 3:30pm- 5pm. The training sessions are taken by Mrs Dougan and the professional coach Mrs Linford and include dynamic warm-ups; fitness training; skill and team development as well as match practice. The 2nd XI play matches on a Saturday morning either home or away, generally on the astro-turf, as well as some mid-week matches. They are entered into the Derry and Antrim League Competition and the McDowell Cup Competition.
