Ballymena Learning Together

As a Principal of one the nine post primary schools in the greater Ballymena area since February 2004, it seemed a natural development for all of us to begin to meet together regularly. (Read the context) 



The purpose was to get to know one another and to explore potential areas of common interest for the schools, such as transport and curriculum matters. Then, relatively early in the process we were overtaken by events. The tragic death of one of our Year 11 students in May 2006 was a shock to the whole community but especially to the post-primary schools. (See main site)
